Like most Sumatran coffee, Sumatra Sipangan Bolon Parapat Village is strongly herbal-toned, with flavors of Sweet basil and aromatic cedar. What makes this particular coffee interesting is the Begamot-like citrus notes that mingle throughout the flavor profile, and end with an earthy peat finish. This brightness really adds depth and dimension to the cup, and only gets more pronounced with milk and sugar.

The aroma from the wet grinds is distinctly green, and its earthy sweetness evokes images of a dense forest after a rain, making its Sumatran origins unmistakable. Deeply enjoyable and complex.
