Ethiopa Shakiso Korommii coffee boasts sweet, stone-fruit flavors similar to white-fleshed nectarine. An additional bright berry flavor, reminiscent of tart blackberry helps to round things out. A touch of sugar really brings the fruit to the foreground, while cream adds flavors of blackberry cobbler ala mode. A great all around drinking coffee!

Ethiopian Shakiso Korommii coffee comes from a processing site called “Korommii”, operated in the Guji Highland farms of Ethiopia. Rather than as a blend of the products from the surrounding area, the Shakiso Korommii is the product of a single local village. As is the case for most Ethiopian dry-process coffee, the ripe coffee cherries are floated in a bed of clean water to help remove any unripe coffee. The remaining coffee is then laid out on a raised bed and dried in the sun for three weeks before the beans within are removed. The end result is a particular fruity coffee that works great for pour-overs.
